WHAIKAHA, WHAIMANA: OUR VOICES COUNT RALLY
Saturday 6 December
This is the big moment. Our banners will speak. Our stories will lead. Our voices will count. Beginning at 11.30 am at the Bridge of Remembrance. Download our rally posters below and spread the word!
Our Facebook will be active with updates, so make sure you follow along there. Use #ourvoicescount and #nothingaboutuswithoutus on Facebook and Instagram.
This year’s International Day of Disabled Persons theme is “Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress”. This reminds us that inclusion, resilience, and visibility are vital. Not all disabilities are seen, but every voice must be heard. The more of us there are, the louder our voices and the greater impact we can have. Invite your friends, whānau, groups, and networks, and let’s make this rally unforgettable.
