Disability Leadership Canterbury has been and will continue collecting your stories and experiences through a survey. We have used the data collected so far to tell your stories and show how the disability community continues to be harmed by these cuts, changes, and decisions.

This is where creativity meets kaupapa. Guided by community artist Maungarongo Ron Te Kawa, we will design unapologetic banners that speak to our strength. Ron is known for turning collective stories into bold, visible art.
SATURDAY 6 DECEMBER
This is the big moment. Our banners will speak. Our stories will lead. Our voices will count. The rally will be fun, visible, and powerful – a celebration of who we are and a demand for the change we deserve.
